What a fantastic and lovely stay we had here. Polperro really is a special place. From arrival we received such a warm and genuine welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Claire and all her staff. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We appreciated the quirkiness of staying in 300+ year old property full of rich history. What a view from our window. Our daily included breakfast was an unexpected treat, fresh and cooked to order with a good variety of choices. Our favourite was the local made yogurt served with fresh fruit and honey. If you are wanting a stay that feels like a home away from home with genuinely kind and lovely people, this is the place for you!Today sadly completes another stay at this wonderful gem, which is located right in the heart of the harbour area of the most charming of Cornish fishing villages. Today sadly completes another stay at this wonderful gem, which is located right in the heart of the harbour area of the most charming of Cornish fishing villages. Incredibly yummy food, fabulous accommodation and a gorgeous atmosphere. Lovely staff who absolutely know how to make your stay in Polperro special. |Even if you are in Polperro, just for a day, don’t miss out on a snack or meal at this beautiful place. The breakfast menu is really fabulous and the beds are so comfortable!|Totally highly recommended!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a lovely breakfast here! The smoked kippers with poached eggs were absolutely delicious – full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Great service and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Sitting on the river overlooking the harbour this is a step back in time with olde world ropes and pulleys draped across the ceiling. That said the service and food were brilliant, at a very reasonable price for a holiday resort like Polperro. Locals eat and drink in there so it must be good. Highly recommended and I will definitely revisit when I'm in the area next.

Didn't stay in the rooms but have frequented the cafe and must say great food, highly recommend the breakfast ciabattas. Coffee is great too. Prices very good and the service was exceptional. Would recommend.

We went to Polperro specifically to revisit this lovely place after going there 3 years ago. Food is superb and staff are very helpful and friendly. We went back twice this week as we like it there so much.

Popped in for lunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon. A very warm welcome with excellent friendly service. If you’re visiting Polperro then this is a must stop over. You will not be disappointed.

Had a great 4 days here! With my dog and a friend. Comfy room with harbour view, steps from harbour and great breakfasts. Couldn’t recommend more highly and will be back. Note, two sets of stairs (necessary for view) and parking is expensive as only the one car park at top of street.

Delicious cream tea with the fluffiest warm scones. The rest of the menu looked great too. Amazing old building.

Stopped here for lunch/cakes and the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh tasty mussels and the best gluten free bread and gluten free scones I've ever had. They were extremely friendly with my little one who was just before nap time so was slightly restless (apologies - we had struggled to make it for dinner during our stay but really wanted to try this place before our holiday ended!). Thank you
Had mussels and Prosecco after a rewarding coastal walk from Looe. Beautiful food and hospitality. Highly recommended. Will be back.

Great, quirky place in Polperro. Excellent, nautical decor with items used from a salvaged shipwreck including wood and rigging parts. It wasn't busy when I visited, with not many people in, but service seemed a bit reluctant and sluggish. I was sat round the corner from the counter, but I had to go up in the end to place orders, rather than table service. I had the Cornish Gouda Rarebit and it was superbly tasty. I would definitely have that again, mmm, lovely aftertaste. Also had to have a morsel of cake, would be rude not to. Would definitely revisit and recommend as food was very good indeed.- Service

Went into there on New Years Eve, very busy but amazing service and food. Didn't wait long for a table and the team apologised for keeping us waiting but it didn't matter and they were full. Ordered bacon and a sausage sandwich, which I'm certain is now the best I have tasted, great products served and plenty of it. Well done and thank you you were all working very hard this day 👏👏🎅🏼

About half a mile from the sea. It's rather nice actually that there is no traffic as you walk down. It's rather narrow and very quaint and picturesque
